Siren Call Films is an exciting Award Winning Film Production Company run by Emily Haigh and Lisa Haigh focussing on a slate of strong female-centric films.
Our most recent project 'Patron' recently joined the festival circuit with it's premiere screening at the UK's largest genre film festival, FrightFest. Our previous project, 'Beautified' is still on the festival circuit and has picked up 27 awards to date - including Best Director, Best Producer and Best Short Film.
At present we are developing several scripts for production, including feature film 'Breath of Justice' and 'A Mother's Love' which we are seeking investment.
We are also available for casting and script-writing services. If you would like to discuss a collaboration or interested in investing in one of our future productions, please contact us.
With over 200 film festival screenings, Emily's work continues to grow. She initially fell in love with film-making through her work as an actress. At 18 years of age, without any prior film-making experience, Emily wrote directed and produced her debut short film, Dead Wrong.
Emily was then asked to produce environmental animation, The Velvet Abstract. Emily cast Golden Globe Nominee, Tobias Menzies as narrator and attached the wonderful Jean-Pascal Beintus as composer. Soon afterwards, Emily was asked to play the lead in The Inuring, shortly afterwards she was asked to join as producer. The Inuring was selected into Oscar qualifying, Rhode Island International Film festival, and went on to win Best Short Film, Best Producer and 5 Best Actress Awards for Emily's leading performance.
During this period, Emily set-up 'Siren Call Films' with Lisa Haigh and began to write and develop a slate of female-centric films.
